Customer Support Series: How Can We Organize Video Submissions in Our Campaigns?

We recently received the following support request from one of our customers:

“How can we organize video submissions in our campaigns? It would be nice to be able to add tags to videos to help us segregate demographics. I also wanted to mention that you guys have a great product and it’s only getting better. Love your rapid development and releases.

First of all, we’re blushing… :0)

Secondly, there’s good news and bad news here. The good news is that you already can add tags to videos for better organization. The bad news is that we clearly haven’t made this function obvious enough!

Step 1

When reviewing a video within your campaign, simply click on the “+ Add Tag” link:

Once you add tags to your videos, you can easily filter them by using the drop-down menu found at the top of your VIDEOS page:

Some of the most popular ways we’ve seen customers use tags:

  • To rate videos
  • To create sub-campaigns within their parent campaign
  • To identify videos that need further review
  • To identify poorly-recorded videos they’d like to have re-recorded
  • To segment properties like location, demographics, service type, product, etc.

As you can see, the possibilities are endless. Having a more organized campaign, where all the videos have the appropriate tags associated with them, will allow you to identify the videos you’d like to use in a much more efficient way.

The more videos the merrier, or course – just be sure you’re proactive in your approach to organizing them!
